To all my Friends in Pain!
To all of my friends living with Fibro and other Chronic Pain diseases. I know tonight's going to be another bad one for most of us! So I'm saying Sorry and sending you all Gentle hugs!! I know these last few days have been some of my worst!! I sit here with tears running from the horrible burning pain in my hands, my feet, my tummy, head & neck... The med's just don't help when it's this bad. So it's at my worst I tell myself I am not alone! I remember that all of you are suffering along with me and ask that you stop a minute to help me send out some thoughts of courage and strength to one another... Lord help us get through yet another rocky night!!

"Life is not fair -- get used to it!"
The world won't care about your self-esteem.
The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school.
You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity.
Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping -- they called it opportunity.
If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now.
They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you are.
So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT.
In some schools they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer.
This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Life is not divided into semesters.
You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF.
Do that on your own time.
Television is NOT real life.
In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to a job.
Be nice to nerds.
Chances are you'll end up working for one.

. In Loving Memory of My Dad's Birthday...
September 16th,
Dad would have been 80 today!!!
Dad was a man who was well liked and respected; he walked tall
among others...
Although he has been gone just a few years; I still miss my Dad
terribly…
Every single day feels just a little sad for me; it never really gets
any easier…
It’s especially depressing at times; like Dads Birthday and then all the
Holidays when we would have been spending time with our Dad…
I miss our every day little talks on the phone...
We discussed
football, family and
the current events of the day…
You were always there to give me your love
and support Dad...
I
feel like this hole in my heart won't ever heal,
I guess it’s my way of never letting you go…
So on this Day Dad; I just wanted to wish you
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! With all my love!!!
I hope you and Ruth are up there together
having one heck of a
celebration...
I Love you Dad, always have and always will!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Love and Peace.... Judi
“It’s another bad night”!!!
Pain you Bitch, please please leave me alone…
I have so much I want to get done on Saturday I actually made a list… So
I’m begging you dear God if you’re listening could you please let me not hurt
so bad tomorrow!!!
I broke down and got groceries this evening so now I suppose I’m going to
pay for it the rest of the night!!! I am so tired and sore, my muscles are
throbbing and feel wiggilie, yah I know not a real word. It’s so hard to
explain the muscle soreness the feeling of hot pain pinging around in my
bicep’s and calves…
My back is hurting so bad I’m considering using one of my heat patches
just to sleep. I save them for the days I have to go do stuff because I know
that my pain pills are not going to give me much relief ( Patches are pricey) .
It’s funny how some Dr’s give me entirely too much pain medicine and others not
enough. My current pain Dr. happens to be the latter so I run around with a
pain level of about 7 or 8 down from about the big 12+ I'd get without any pain
meds… Beggars can’t be chooser’s, I guess :0’(
I am tired enough at night but can’t get comfortable...
Too much pain!!! I mostly have to take a sleeping pill to get any rest at
all …If I need to get up and move at a decent hour I just end up not sleeping
or dozing off and on ... Every day I'm on my heat and massaging pad, I can’t
handle the pain without using it!!! So I do a few things then back on to rest ,
then do a few things and back on I go ... If it’s a bad day I cannot move and I spend almost the
entire day on a massaging pad!!!
Hard to believe that I've worn at least a dozen of
these things out, they aren't made to be used for the length of time
I need to use them for. So if I am very lucky I’ll get 3 to 6 months before
they stop working… Our stupid stores only carry Massaging pads at Christmas
time and I CAN’T LIVE without my heat and massage pad … I use it every day; I
sit on it way too long but can’t help myself... I do my stretches and other
exercises on my couch in its reclining position so I can keep my back muscles warmed...
I seriously do not want surgery on my back again, so I’m getting
steroid shots. It’s an everyday fight for me... It really hurts getting a shot
through all the scar tissue I have but I keep hoping that I’ll get some kind of
relief. It’s a slim chance but still possible!!! So I figure if I can get my
core strong, which I am slowly working towards... I just might get to the
point that I can at least not feel tied to a massager. NOT FUNNY!!! I know my
Fibromyalgia won’t go away but that doesn't mean I’m giving up trying
to fix the other stuff , I can’t …
The Pain of Fibromyalgia
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtc2JARVpPw
The Pain of Fibromyalgia
My
fibromyalgia started back in 1999 when I fell off of my front porch. I try to
sit and imagine how it used to be without any pain, and then I get mad at
myself for how I took it for granted...
It’s often I
find myself wishing there was a sign above my head with a number for my pain at
that moment...
Then everyone (kids, co-workers, strangers on the street) would
know what is going on... Why the pain is is so intense and long lasting
is anyone’s guess...What could put me in bed or tears, may be a minor issue
for someone else it is never for me. I've tried to give my husband and family time
to deal with my condition; I've tried to be patient. But find it impossible to
share my experiences without complaining about it all. It isn't right that I
have to be the sensitive one and the one with Fibro but life is rarely fair. When
you are sick like me, you tend to focus on your problem a lot. It is an
overwhelming disorder, and I think that my family’s in denial, maybe because
they can’t make me feel better. My husband has been less than
supportive. His answer to me having pain is everyone has pain. He’s become frustrated and less than kind and patient and I have felt so
lonely and disrespected and unloved. Forgiveness is choosing to love and I
can imagine that it does get tedious listening to my complaints of pain or
exhaustion, that never goes away. Refusing to forgive leaves an open wound in our soul that festers
into bitterness, resentment, and depression...
For our own good, and the good of
the person’s who hurt us, we simply must forgive...
Just as we trust God for our
salvation…
